I have always been partial to folding knives for tactical use. I recently picked up this SOG Instinct. At 5.9" overall and with a weight of 2.3 oz., it is easy to carry. The clip on the sheath rotates for any carry position. I wear it on my belt, inline with my belt with the knife in a horizontal position on my weak side. I thought it would make a great weapon retention knife. I could use my strong hand to maintain my weapon and use my weak hand to pull and use this knife to "earn my draw". I like the idea of not having to open a folding knife with my weak hand if I am fighting for my life.
