You absolutely won’t be disappointed for the price. The modes(6 to choose from) are a bit tricky to get to the mode selection part but after that it’s super simple. Modes as in which interface you want it to have like cycle between low med high turbo, or another that is jus turbo only when turned on etc. once you set it to what you like you don’t have to do it again unless you want to change it.
I just want one that turns on and off. I hate all the other garbage they have on them. Keep it simple.....

Well that light does precisely that. You just have the ability to choose what brightness you want it on when it comes on which is what the modes do(just getting to the mode change is kind of aggravating, but you don’t need to change the mode out of the box. It’s just a option)The light itself is a simple tail click on and off or to cycle through the levels of brightness. No PHD required like some of the wurkkos lights.

Got an old Maglite 4 D-cell that reaches out there. Largest one that'll fit in my nightstand drawer.
Just checked it, batteries have a 2004 date, little dim, still working fine.
Better get new ones before winter.
Also need to check the battery lanterns.
I'm surprise those batteries haven't corroded in that light. It'll ruin a good flashlight. Ask me how I know.....I used to keep the batteries changed out then at some point I didn't. I now have a graveyard of used to be good flashlights

Don't want to cycle through. Just want on and off in a aluminum case. Preferably a button on the side for one hand operation that can be toggled on and off. And waterproof/ impact resistant. Also be able to stand on end or lay on side and not roll away with an adjustable beam. Full size as well. Maybe a 2 or 3 D cell light

Once again the acebeam tac aa 2.0 runs off one AA but comes with a rechargeable one. They also make a Tac 2 AA that is twice the size and maybe a little brighter. But for pretty much anyone use they would ever need that standard tac aa is crazy bright.
Currently $25 after clicking on the $5 coupon beneath it. The newest version(2.0) is the blue, tan and orange one. The others are the old version.
Edit: the $5 coupon disappeared so it’s $29.99 and still well worth it.

Ordered one last night. Wondered about the code. Wanted something a bit smaller to pocket carry.

Hope you like it. It’s tied for being my favorite light. If you have any questions on the mode stuff let me know. The instructions aren’t 100% accurate from what I’ve found anyways.

Surprises me, too. I check them occasionally to make sure they're not leaking.

I'd never leave batteries in something past their date. Had too many problems. Well I didn't on purpose anyway. That's how come I have a graveyard of flashlights. Time somehow got away from me I guess
