Flip Side: What Is Your LEAST Favorite Feature Of Your Vehicle?

I would love a used Lexus GX but the gas mileage is from a time of much cheaper fuel prices. I love the idea of an antiquated, V8 built like a tank. It would empty a wallet as a daily though.
Yeah. I drove a 1974 Impala sport in college. 8 Miles to the gallon and it was an 80 mile round trip. I trapped in the fall and winter, worked in the college book store and a gas station on the weekends while being in the guard. Point is, I worked my ass off to have the freedom in a beast of a car with 350 4 bolt main V-8 that weighed 4,444 pounds with an case of beer on ice in an old metal Coleman cooler in the trunk. I pulled up to the grain elevator one evening and read the digital reader through the window. Me and friends put many miles on the Chi-Town Bomber while boonie cruising and drinking beer. a few of them still talk about that car every now and again.
The trunk was so big a 16 gallon keg would set up right packed in galvanized tub surrounded by ice. I'd run the pump and hose in between the rear seat and back rest. OFF WE GO!!! To quote "Ed-ith" Those were da days.

Two things I wish my truck had would be key pad entry and remote start so I didnt have to get into an oven every afternoon.
My new Nissan has remote start and mobile app start and vehicle location. Well, it did for 6 months. Now they want me to pay a $14 monthly subscription to reinstate the functions.

Wait until you have to replace the battery n a vehicle with auto start/stop function. Be ready to shell out $250 bucks. Just did it on my wives 2018 Ford Escape. In the end it was same price to have ford do versus buying the battery at O-Reilly's and doing it myself. Not to mention the battery or "Batree" is located behind the engine and under the dash/windshield area of a ford escape. That's some major BS right there.

The battery you describe is the actual battery and if it was original you were lucky to get that long as 3-4 years is a general rule. Many cars with start stop have an auxiliary battery as well and it’s also expensive

Yes, I have the same. I turn it off as soon as I start the truck. I get mad at myself when I forget.
Wait until y'all get a newer Silverado. I was having my truck serviced at the dealership & a newer Silverado rolled up. It won’t go into gear if your seatbelt isn’t fastened.

That is the most hated feature of my wife's car. I stopped turning on cruise control because it's unbearable.
I finally figured out how to turn that off and go to “normal” cruise control. In a Toyota, you just hold the cruise lever down, and it will eventually cycle to “normal” cruise control versus the radar/adaptive crap.

Wife's durango has the main and aux battery under the seats. You have to pull the seats out to get the batteries out.
