Florida Gun Buyer

I live and hold a CWP in Florida. I would like to buy guns advertised in the Georgia Gun Trader. Is my only option getting the Georgia seller to ship to a Florida FFL? I almost made a deal on a pistol where the seller was only 50 miles from me, but was over the state line. Just want to make sure I do this right as I have no desire to move to a "gated community"

Yeah gonna need a transfer since you are in another state, maybe others will chime in but i am pretty certain this is true on handguns

Yep, you have to go through an FFL for all guns, although I'm not sure about black powder.

I also have a cwp in fla but i also have a georgia dl if you hade a gdl you would not have any issues.the fl permit has resopricity here on carry though

Kinda silly that I cam concealed carry but not buy. Would consider a Georgia address, but as a lifelong Gator Fan, I would probably be seen as just barely above a yankee

Gator fans are beneath Yankees and just barely above Satan in the grand scheme of things.

Our U.S Attorney General Eric Holder and the ATF see's no boundry/state lines ( think fast and furious )which is encouraging, heck, they don't even care what nationality you are, the constitution does'nt mention state lines but does say not to infringe on your rights to own and bear, so who am I to infringe ?
