Do any of you guys do any flounder gigging? I am still pretty new to it but I am learning and just curious if any of the ODTers enjoy gigging as well. If you do lets see some rigs!

Flounder gigging

I did as a kid in the Keys, all you need is a light at night, gig, and a sandy bottom oh and I don't mean your Butt! Good Luck and happy hunting!
Man I haven't done that in over 45 years. We used coleman lanterns with light deflectors hanging over the side the side of of a Jon boat at low tide. Sure was fun. You just brought back some great memories for me, thanks.
Where you planning on going gigging???
We used to go gigging in Port St. Joe, FL bay back in the late 70's since it was sandy, shallow and not much grass. Also use to be good scalloping but I haven't been there in decades.
Yep , used to do it as kid in the bay. Just a flashlight and a gig. Looked for the their eyes and just took our best shot!! Yes, wonderful memories there 
Loved flounder gigging in tampa bay when I lived close to it. Quiet out there without worries of getting sunburned and just all the other neat stuff you would see in the water at night.
I don't have a certain place. I have been going around shellmans bluff and cresent but have not had great luck just a few here and there. You know where I need to go????
I really want to go to florida they seem to do more gigging than we do.
It is very peaceful out there out night and you do see some cool stuff!
