Fly Fishing Thread .....

I use to love fly fishing the flats in the keys..As far as fresh water, I have only done some small ponds years ago just at dawn or twilight for big shell crackers..For them I used a small popper at the edge of the hydrilla. Best Movie for poetry to me was A River Runs Through It..Man talk about making music, with someone that has mastered there abilities impressive..Due to health I sad to say, can't fly anymore..

Incredibly story and movie by someone that actually gets it.

Some of the most fun I ever had as a kid was doing that at a course my Dad had access to.

was out on one of my warm water creeks a few days ago, caught a couple. Needs to really warm up.

Some of the best fishing days in my life were with the poppers on a fly rod catching bream.
That's great fun!

biker_bill you would think you have a monster on the line with a 3wt fly rod . Lol. That fish was big for a wild creek bluegill. I love catching them .

Yea on a light rod you're very aware of why a bream is called a "Game Fish".
Oh, those were good times....
