If I choose to follow a fellow member because I like the type items they list for sale or trade, I click on the "Follow" button. I understand that part. My question is: the next time that member posts an item for sale or trade or for any other reason, do I get alerted so I can click over to that post and read it ? If the answer is yes, then I am not being able to do so. If the answer is no, then how does the Follow button work ? Thanks.

I think the "No Stalking" mentality of todays society has disabled that feature... You're Welcome!

Click on your name located in the upper right. The dropdown menu will have a "your news feed" button. Click on that and it should show the content of the members you are stalking. I mean following.
