They should be able to do it. It's simply taking a picture then they'll mail him his new card.

But, Lowes will still want him to register online and get their MyLowes card. It's not a credit card or anything. It's very easy to register and they'll approve it the same day and then send him a card in the mail. You fill out the info and then attach a digital copy of his Honorable Discharge. Take a picture of it , copy and paste is easy.

He should be already with Lowe's system, and he has their cc.

If he does the MyLowes online it will get stored in their system and all he has to do is tell them he is a veteran and they will ask his name and confirm is home number. Home Depot wouldn't accept my drivers license that has the flag and says veteran on it. They told me I had to have a VA ID. Piss on that. Lowes has been good to go. Also, if I'm not mistaken, a spouse and children can use it to. Don't hold

That was my experience at HD also when they showed me the policy as I mentioned in my earlier post. Thanks.

That's ridiculous. Someone is busting his balls for asking for a discount. You don't get "ineligible" as a veteran just because your card expired. You most likely HAD TO BE a VETERAN in the first place to GET THE CARD!

I registered with Lowe's online with my military info, they sent me a MyLowe's Card, when I check out they scan it and it gives the Vet discount and they thank me for my service and I pay and away I go. I've used it on everything I've bought except stuff I ordered to be shipped to the store. You can't use it then sadly, but it got me 10% off a 2,000 dollar riding mower and my new washer and dryer and my backpack leaf blower. Good to have.

I don't shop Home Depot unless I absolutely have to.

Is he using a VA card or his old military ID from when he was in the service? I could see why they might not accept it if it's just his old active duty ID. Then again my local HD won't do military discounts for Veterans anymore.
