Ford Raptor - Are they really that awesome?

All the early reviews sounded pretty exciting and I'm not a truck guy.

10/14 bent their frames? Mine probably wouldn't see dirt/mud in its lifetime but wow!

Id skip the raptor, atleast till the new model comes out end of 16'. Tha or since your a dodge guy, check out the 1500 rebel! http://www.topspeed.com/trucks/truck-reviews/ram/2015-ram-1500-rebel-ar167077/picture610877.html

Love everything about the Rebel accept for that god awful grill. Not sure I could stomach looking at that everyday.

I'm usually not a Ram guy, but that truck looks pretty good until you catch a glimpse of the hideous grill.

I have a buddy that has a Raptor and he loves it....except for the gas mileage. He said that is his ONLY negative comment about the truck.

There is a lot of Ford hate out there lol

Over rated plus its a ****ing Old Rebuilt Dodge
Dodges are mostly rebuilt too. You pretty much start rebuilding them as soon as you buy them. At one time the Ram was statistically the only full size truck on the road that may not last the length of it's own warranty. They're better now, but not Ford or Chevy better.

Ford made some mighty big claims when they released it. It didn't take long to find out that it didn't live up to the hype. I'm a Chevy guy, though I've owned a few Fords and can admit that aesthetically, it's a nice looking truck.

Ford claimed these trucks could run the baja. These guys took theirs on a much shorter, much milder run. They weren't jumping the trucks, just running really hard. They did bottom out, but not enough to damage any other components, not even the skid plates. The worst part is, Ford refused to acknowledge the design flaw.
