Ford Raptor - Are they really that awesome?

It's actually not even a comparison....Toyota compares with that Honda Ridgeline "truck"...neither are 2500 or even 1500 level, more like "500".
My brother in law bought a Tundra back in 07 or 08 when they came out with the 5.7 381hp motor...a week later he SAT on the tailgate and it separated! He's about 230lbs.
Back in the day I put a full pallet of portland cement on the tailgate of my 07 Dodge 3500 6.7 Cummins, nothing happened, took it like a beast that it was.

That Tundra was a fast truck, but didn't make it to 40k miles before engine blew up...luckily it was covered under warranty...he sold it immediately after new engine was installed.

I have a 14' Ram megacab 4x4 diesel that I have put 30k miles on in the last 13 months, not one single issue. The truck is a beast, always has 1200-1500 lbs in the bed and pulls a 14'7' tall enclosed trailer with 3-4k lbs on it - nationwide. I don't keep a truck but a couple of years so I can't say what the longevity is but this is the 3rd Ram I've had and I have not seen a single issue out of the three.

I thought you weren't arguing?

Toyotas are fine for people that want to look like they are tough....just like a Taurus. When it comes time to do real work...well....
I am not trying to look like anything. I leave that to the guys who daily drive the cummin diesel to the grocery store and the quiky mart and picking the rats up at school.
