Next truck I buy will be purchased based on whoever is offering the longest warranty.

I just bought a 2013 Mustang V6... They asked if I wanted to extend my warranty... I asked what's the longest... My car is covered for 6 years in warranty work. $100 deductible. I have a 5 year loan... If I'm paying for it for 5 years... I want maintenance to be virtually free for 5 years.

If you get a 04 an up a few years Ford you will be pissed when you have to give it a tune up, you have to have a special tool to get the broke spark plug out when you break them off in the head. Shops usually charge 100 per cyl to tune them up without parts. Plus a Tahoe will have a lot better ride than a horse an buggy ford. I drive a ford at work and when I get off in the evening an get in my chevy, its like laying on a cloud compared to the bed of rocks that ford feels like.

I agree 100%, the spark plug deal was the stupidest crap ever. The 04-08 f150 I think it is, did ride like crap as well, BUT that is a working mans truck. Like some farmers do, leave the Ford to do the mans work, and under the carport lay the grocery getting Chevy. The newer Fords ride and sit very good, and their interior is FAR superior to any other truck on the market. I think GM has the worst interior out of all.

Warranty means nothing if you constantly are having to use it and be without. Stuck back in a GM for best truck warranty. Best thing you can do is buy a Ford and the Ford extended warranty. Has your dash cracked yet?

I thought Ford got assistance before recession hit?
Am I wrong?
They are all like politicians, not much difference in them all

Ford tried at first, but finally said **** this and was able to secure a private loan.

Chevy took a **** ton of government money, some of which was used to pay off the unions, then made a commercial lying out their ass saying they paid their bailout back, yea with more bailout and TARP money. So, like I said, the only Chevy I can stomach driving is a Tahoe, and only one that was built pre-bailout. I sure as hell won't be using a Chevy service center for any work, I'll be using an ind shop. I guess they'll still get money from me on parts and all, but I'm a sucker for the look of the Tahoes.

I'll be checking out one of each tomorrow. Fingers crossed that neither one is leaking, as seems to be the case with the Chevy's I've looked at thus far. As one person pointed out, Chevy driver seats do not last. That's my only complaint aside from the bailout thing.

Can't there be at least one Chevy vs Ford where acronyms are a no show.

In reality, with the changes it is no longer Ford vs Chevy. It's more of a Kia vs Chevy. No longer and have not been on the same level for a few years.

Did you just compare a KIA to a FORD??? You must be bat S*** Crazy!! Please explain. My guess is you used to own an old Festiva and that's why you don't like Ford. We're talking about trucks sir.

I may have read it wrong, as it didn't make any sense. Again, please explain..........
