The liquid they're injecting them with is not that bad probably not going to hurt you and make you sick you could probably just eat mouth full of it you'd be fine as for the shrimp being raised in highly polluted carcinogenic water then pumped full of antibiotics to keep them from dying.................. well you gotta worry about one problem at a time

I get so mad on some food forums where the poster mostly are pretty knowledgeable but they will go on about the "bargains" at Wal-Mart.

Well, yeah, if you are selling water are $6 a lb. FWIW, a gallon of water is 8.2 lbs. so that's about $25 a gallon for water.

Plus a lot of Wal-mart beef is "standard" grade You do check the grade of the meat that you buy don't you? Most grocery stores refuse to carry 'standard" grade, but no problem at Wally World. They claim it's "leaner" -which it is. It also is noticeable tougher/

It's in a lot of foods you already eat. Used as a thickener in ice cream, puddings, milk shakes, etc.

I would worry more about the polluted water the shrimp came from than the CMC. Besides, if you knew what was in most of the packaged and processed foods you eat, you would starve to death because you would be so grossed out.

...that, or it could just be electrolytes ("Brawndo").
