Got everything in yesterday for the next build. Nice numbers matching md 63 kit. A little mock up before I get everything cleaned up and organized.

This right here pretty much sums it up.

Well, just maybe

Hammer, punches, Magpul wrench and a cheap table vise and you're a certified AR expert. Heck... To top it all off, you can waste $300+ for a piece of paper and several hours of glorified fanboy nonsense if that makes you feel better if you wish.

Just please don't forget to check head space. Oh wait, that $300 should cover that along with the proper locations to put the allocated socom drops of lube to have it run flawlessly for life.


All BS aside. If you're not comfortable assembling age 12 and up lego sets, please seek proper training and pay to take the course.

Never built an ar, compared to building an ak it can't be that difficult. I kind of want to assemble one just to do it..

If you need the tools, BIG LOTS had a massive sale today. Swing by there and afterwards check one of the kazillion youtube videos of all the AR operators doing custom builds. OR... just spend the $300+ for the course. Its Socom approved..

AK building is definitely a lot cooler though
