I actually saw when he said that and did it and yes it works great

I already worked out all the dents with a combination of different tools. The dents weren't always just the sides, some were at the very front side of the mag, and some were on the spine. Those are harder to work out

not really actually, all you have to do with those dents is take the metal part of the hammer and beat the mag till you see the workbench through it
