Those are nicer than one of the drums that I got. Those look to be EX or NOS. I got one that looked like that and another that was VG only. It's sort of a bummer, but there's nothing I can do about it.

Is it bad that now I am looking for an SKS? Never cared for one, but now want one just to round up the 7.62x39 collection.

No.
The SKS is a handy, fun, and affordable rifle. Find me another reliable semi-auto in x39 with a CHF CL (maybe just CHF for a Yugo) barrel for $350 or less.
