I'm about 15 minutes up the street from there...



They look badass but I didn't enjoy mine. The Ultimak and cowitness was nice. The snail should have offset to the other side, I bought it on a whim. Well it completely interferes with your support arm. It was a neat gun for what it is but nowhere near as accurate as an AR. The newer series with the thicker barrel could be a lot better rifle but I haven't tried one out yet. Good mags are expensive. Well, $20-$30 anyway...

I wouldnt pay retail for a mini, but they can be had for $400-500 pretty regularly. I once got really lucky and bought on for 350.

The AR 10 is more modular than an M1A, but the M1A doesnt really need to be modular..nor does the AR10 for that matter.

But like said earlier they're not accurate after the first 20 rounds or when the barrel heats up on thpse older models unless you put a barrel strut on them. But, if SHTF they may be the only legal semi autos left. My cousins in California can get Mini-14's til the cows come home but AR's and AK's are like pulling teeth.

When I lived in CA, I had a PSL, Mini Draco, SAM-7K, Romy G, and a ton of other really cool guns. It just takes a lot of money, knowing all the gun laws inside and out, and knowing which FFLs do too. I guess it's a lot harder as of late, but there are plenty of creative ways to deal with ban compliance.
