Forest fires by a Ted Nugent

your opinion (not just this thread) makes me think you're an effeminate joss Whedon fan boy.

not calling you that per say; just saying, anytime I've ever been to a nerd gathering there are always the male feminists who are generally also huge Buffy the vamp slayer and their rhetoric sounds a lot like what your spouting

Why would you be a a "nerd" gathering? Inquiring minds want to know. lol

I just want to bring back the dinosaurs.

What was it that humans did to cause the Ice Age which led to the demise of the dinosaurs? I missed that part.

Did Fred Flintstone have something to do with it? Yabba Dabba Doo

If pollution filters out the sunlight leading to another Ice Age and R-12 Freon makes a hole in the clogged up ozone, then it seems we can regulate global warming, unless all this was just all lies from our government.

"Example, you mention invasive fauna" (Fear itself)

OK,My hypothesis for this is only what I personally have seen over 30-40 yrs of working and hunting outdoors pretty much all the time, not just a weekend warrior. We can all attest to the recent invasion of normally southern species into our areas.Coyotes and Wild hogs have become a rather fast growing invasive species.Due to tropical storms such as Hurricanes we have seen explosive growth in Florida due to the inadvertant release of sub-tropical species into that area.Anaconda,Boa,other cold blooded ambphibians are wrecking Fla's otherwise natural wildlife.Because my work primatily focused on Flora I can attest to plants species migration upwards as most can probably see palms/palmetto gradually moving towards the north in south and central Ga,but there are other invasive plants moving northward as well.Unfortunately these types of migrations also have a tendency to bring pest and disease along with them

Re: Greenland ,my understanding is it was because of a unatural phenomenon of lower Co2 that began some 5 million yrs ago that caused it to ice over,Now due to the Carbon in our atmosphere growing it is thawing again.I don't pretend to have any answer just what I can glean thru reading and my interpretations,Sadly we have petulant behavior here that would rather show immaturity by making statements to deride anyones thought they disagree with rather than a mature conversation,Thanks for yours
"We can all attest to the recent invasion of normally southern species into our areas.Coyotes and Wild hogs have become a rather fast growing invasive species."

It's blatantly incorrect statements like this that make us question anything you say. Coyotes and Wild Hogs are simply not "normally southern species". Wild hogs are more common in the south because that's where their breeding season is longer, so they reproduce more, but naturally occurring wild pigs are found in all climates short of arctic. Ever heard of Russian Boar?

As for Coyotes, their normal range takes them well into Canada. They have been expanding their range to the east ever since the Eastern Red Wolf was practically eliminated in the wild and it has nothing to do with climate change.

This

In the south Wolves and big cats were apex predator

Not anymore

And most of what's called "wild hogs" are actually feral pigs. As in, escaped farm stock. Not caused by Global Warming, Global Cooling, Ozone Hole, or Y2K.

Animals have had specific responses to climate change. Species respond to climate changes by migration, adaptation, or if neither of those occur, death. These migrations can sometimes follow an animal's preferred temperature, elevation, soil, etc., as said terrain moves due to climate change. Adaptation can be either genetic or phenological, and death can occur in a local population only (extirpation) or as an entire species, otherwise known as extinction.

In other words what I was saying about migration is correct as stated and while your use of the internet has given you range specifications it has not provided migration patterns that have factually changed due to GW,Sorry but your insight into the matter is devoid of normal factual evidence to discount what I said,Furthermore the Hog/Pig/Boar encroachment has come largely from S.Fla and to our west where temperal climate changes have made the area more viable for migration.Try to focus on the facts vs theory

Then how come Wisconsin has a wild pig problem? As does Oregon?

You talk about paying attention to facts while ignoring those presented to you. As you have by ignoring the clear fact your statement about Coyotes being a southern species is unarguably BS.
