How many are still chasing the F1 cans? I am wanting to build a fairly unique design, but not sure if the F1 is still being denied.

All second hand info; I'm told you can still form 1 a suppressor as long as it's not from suppressor parts. They want pics and info of what and how. Like pics of raw material and a lathe and drill press, etc. When I did the cost comparison, no labor involved was still $300 in parts for something comparable to what's already out there. YMMV.
Made more sense to meh to pay a little extra and let Otter Creek, DA, or Rugged take care of R&D. Especially with a $200 stamp/per.
They are still approving form1 suppressors (as of Nov 22). I submitted one after all of the disapprovals and included links to onlinemetals.com and a statement I was using raw materials and a lathe. I didn't include a picture of the lathe and was still approved.
