A good friend of mine is a new author. HARMON SNIPES was born and raised in the 1950’s and 60’s in Mobile, Alabama. His father was a career police officer who rose to the rank of Captain and head of the Detective Bureau. In 1970 he was drafted into the United States Army and decided to volunteer for Special Forces. Over the next six years he spent time on two Special Forces A-Teams which included a stint in Southeast Asia.
His book "A Praying Man" is a good read and a lot of the novel takes place right here in Gwinnett County. I recommend the book, which can be purchased on Amason and through Barnes & Noble.
