Cyber? He's going to go to Georgia or Maryland, I imagine, to Army bases no less. Should make for a good career but I'd be surprised if there were a lot of travel involved. Probably a very good choice career-wise though.

When I was in the USAF, 1966-1972. I was an Air Traffic/Weapons Controller. Great job.

My oldest granddaughter is cyber security in Norfolk, 3 years into a 6 year hitch.

Congrats!
My advice to him would be the same I told her, take every class they offer, get all the free education you can.

I was Navy and slept in a tent, dug foxholes and crawled in the dirt.....
