After a week in boot camp he called to let us know he's being separated from the Navy, there was a childhood ailment he didn't disclose and they are sending him home because of it. Details are sketchy, he's decided to not fight it and hope once he clears up his medical records he can re-enlist in 6 months to a year.
He's extremely disappointed, we're giving him all the support we can, but this is his to fix. His demeanor has changed so much in a very short time...

That's too bad. What was the ailment? Also how did it come up that the Navy found out about it?
