Music matched with Pan's Labyrinth. I think these are some of Tool's deepest lyrics, so thought provoking.
I believe the "forty six & 2" is in reference to what the structure of what human DNA could be like (with further evolution) as opposed to where it is now 44 chromosones and two sex chromosomes. I imagine people smarter than me have a much better grasp on that concept.

wikipedia actually does a good job explaining it:"The title references an idea first conceived by Carl Jung and later expounded upon by Drunvalo Melchizedek concerning the possibility of reaching a state of evolution at which the body would have two more than the normal 46 total chromosomes and leave a currently disharmonious state.[3][4] The premise is that humans would deviate from the current state of human DNA which contains 44 autosomes and 2 sex chromosomes. The next step of evolution would likely result in human DNA being reorganized into 46 and 2 chromosomes, according to Melchizedek."

Its all speculation. Top 5 Tool song though.

I've read Jung and Melchizedek and never put that together. We can only hope.

This one gives me the warm and fuzzes.... Pretty bad-ass. Tool "Triad" Black Hawk Down.

Great band. Great song. Great lyrics.
Never seen Tool, but I saw A Perfect Circle about 5 years ago...insane show. I yelled to Twiggy, "TWIGGGGGY!!!" then gave him the bull horn hand gesture..he made a crazy face and gave me a bull horn sign back. Awesome show. The bull horn thing sounds trivial, but it was one of my coolest concert experiences. I went with my friend Chad, who is now dead. I'll never forget it. R.I.P. brother.
