Found dead buck on my property.

Sad.

We saw one down in Heard Co. this past Sunday.
Yearling with spots still on it ran through the yard with its tounge hanging out and bleeding.
Looked like a Yote attack.
Little guy wasn’t going to make it.

Sad.

Yeah man that is sad.
My wife and daughter saw the same Scenario at a local park.
She called me and said a spotted fawn just broke out of the woods running with tongue out and collapsed on the hillside for a minute then got up and ran up the hill into another thicket.
I told her same thing that yotes probably killed mama or another spotted fawn and it did not want to be dinner.
She was like “What should we do?”
I said “Nothing, it’s nature.”

This will be what finally gets me into a supressor and decent night vision. I am saving guts and hides to make them gutpiles during mating season.

Too bad we can’t trap in the NF.

I use a cheap but effective night vision.
A red cree light mounted to my rifle or crossbow.
It shines light on the bad coyote....you see it perfectly through your scope, coyote dies and you saved a crap ton of money, didn’t have to press a bunch of buttons and strain your eyes.
My buddy has a night vision scope on his rifle and messes with that thing so much.
I let him hunt with my rifle set up one night and he really liked the Simplicity and effectiveness.
