After using a Select Comfort air bed for 22 years, I am looking to a different style, to help possibly alleviate my lack of sleep.
I now use a CPAP for apnea and the range of adjustments on my air bed don't seem to cut it anymore.
I am interested in probably a full size frame/mattress for a single sleeper.
I have looked at hundreds and read dozens of worthless, paid for, recommendations and would like to hear first-hand from an actual user.
It's a medium level investment, for someone about to retire, especially, and I do want to have to keep changing out clinkers.
Thanks.

Yep. Wanted to buy one locally in case there were any issues so we picked up whatever the Ashley Furniture top of the line adjustable base. On any setting for the massage, the vibration device rattled and made noise. One end was only secured by a cotter pin so I'm not sure how it wouldn't bang around.

Returned it, researched a bunch online, and ended up with the Puffy (https://puffy.com/products/puffy-adjustable-base). It's been solid with no issues. The remote is the only weakness because of the small buttons and strong blue backlight, but you get used to working it in the dark. If you don't care about the massage, then any adj bed should be good, but I have to say the massage is very nice.

If you don't have a good mattress, then I'd recommend that as well. Again we researched. tried out what was local, and we ended up with the Bear Mattress Elite Hybrid (https://www.bearmattress.com/products/elite-hybrid-mattress). It sleeps cool and is very comfortable.
