Cleaned up and ready to fire. Dr. alleycat said she looks seaworthy now and gave an interesting history on her.

She was born in 1916. Will try to get video when she spouts a flame

She looks even better in person, and has a correct barrel made by Sig.......should be a great shooter

Per Dave: receiver is 1916, barrel made by Sig (Later known as Sig Sauer) . she served in the civil guard and apparently the army from her markings. The modification was possibly done in 1930's era when military firearms were converted for hunting....etc.

I see the boxed 'SA', so yes..the Finnish army did take this rifle into service.

From what I understand, the Finnish Army took almost every rifle the civil guard had into the Army at one point or another.
