FRANKENMANNLICHER Finnish Mosin!

Cleaned up and ready to fire. Dr. alleycat alleycat said she looks seaworthy now and gave an interesting history on her.

Per Dave: receiver is 1916, barrel made by Sig (Later known as Sig Sauer) . she served in the civil guard and apparently the army from her markings. The modification was possibly done in 1930's era when military firearms were converted for hunting....etc.

I see the boxed 'SA', so yes..the Finnish army did take this rifle into service.
 
From what I understand, the Finnish Army took almost every rifle the civil guard had into the Army at one point or another.
