French Style ISIS Attack, in Georgia?

Those guys were not some random goat ****ing jihadists, they were well trained and operated as a team. If I saw them coming and moving like they did I would get out of dodge. My shield is no match for a pair of well trained guys with ak's. If I was in my vehicle and had access to my rifle it would be a different story. Even if I had to wait in ambush down the street I would engage them if I had a rifle.

Exactly

If that happened in my home town in front of me I'd escape as fast as possible. My first fear is it could be a wide spread attack and my family is first, not everyone else. Sorry but I'm being honest. I'd get home to secure my family and prepare for the worst just in case.

If I'm down on the ground in close proximity to 2 stone cold killers with AK's or other battle rifles, (and wearing body armor, or tactical vests or load bearing vests that might or might not be a form of body armor) and I'm just carrying my normal concealed carry pistol, I think I'm going to keep my gun out of sight and stay low and hope they don't notice me.
I would not engage them unless one of them presented a perfect target to pop him in the head at close range, and I'd only do that if I thought I could take his AK off his corpse before his buddy started shooting at me.

From an elevated position behind hard cover, I might try for some lucky shots with my pistol

Recently I took 3 shots at a man sized silhouette target at 200 yards with my 3" barreled compact 9mm. I got two hits... one in the upper chest and one in the neck / collarbone area. So yeah, I could maybe take down a crazed gunman from a distance with my pistol. If the Lord is on my side. (e.g. David v. Goliath).

Observe, assess, harden, employ, deploy, engage.
If anything interrupts that chain, start over, assess...

If you have the shot, take the shot. Even a distraction can save lives.
