All raw cases are run through a multi-step remanufacturing process:
- Initial wash
- Deprime
- Primer Pocket Swage
- Full Length Resize
- This process uses a carbide small base die
- Trim OAL
- All brass is trimmed per SAAMI specifications: 1.760 -.020 OAL. The OAL for most of our cases will be 1.750 +/- .005.
- Neck Expansion - M Die
- Neck is expanded to provide approximately .004 neck tension. This process reduces neck runout and any bullet tilt during seating. Bullet will easily sit in case mouth prior to entering seating die.
- Tumble with stainless steel pins
- Primer Pocket Swage
- Inspected with primer pocket go/no-go gauge
- OAL after trim
- Neck expansion and tension
- Inspected with neck tension gauge
- Case Gauge
- Final inspection on full case body to insure that case will chamber properly.
