Up for sale today, I have a very nice 1864 Enfield MKII* Snider Carbine in .577 Snider. This little carbine is super fun to shoot and in very nice condition. This example, like many others, was converted from a full length P53 Enfield into the carbine you see today. This was a very common practice back in the late 1800s up until and even during which time purpose built Sniders were being produced. This particular example has a very nice bore and shoots great, functions flawlessly with no issues. As a cool side note, this carbine spent time in Canadian service as per the stock cartouches (see photos). I am only selling this rifle to free up space in my collection.
