Item Description: Beautiful Sporterized 1903 Springfield 30-06 Fine example of 1960's Gunsmith Art
Pictures don't do it justice. The workmanship is fine quality and the walnut stock and checkering is perfect. I'm not a fan of sporterized military weapons but you can tell this one was a labor of love. It's also Super Accurate!
It's time to pare down the collection. I have a few NIB and used AR's, AK's, Mini-14's, 1911's etc. I'll be selling this month. They are available now in Albany and I'll be at the Columbus gun show Saturday. I'm willing to entertain cash or cash plus trades.
I can honor an agreement to purchase if we can't get together for a week or so. So if you can't make it this weekend and see one you need please PM me. MUST be GA Resident or have FFL. Prefer GWL but License OK to prove residency.

I took it to the gun show on Saturday and several MILSURP dealers oooh'd and ah'd over it but couldn't close a deal. I actually know the guy whose Grandad owned and had it converted. Back in the early 60's sporterizing the old Mausers and Springfields was the hottest thing going.
