Item Description: This is a German military "Gravity knife", made by & blade etched : "OFW". It's a more contemporary version of the WW2 era German (wood handle) "drop knife".
These have been issued to German Luftwaffe pilots, mountain ski troops & paratroopers...this example appears to be un-used & never sharpened- only handled.
The blade is stainless steel & 4" long. It has a foldout spike & the handle is made of high-impact plastic. Closed, it's 6" long & functions as designed.
