-You had better thank your lucky stars you never needed it, while these are very good pistols ( I have had a few). They REQUIRE a break in of about 400 rounds to be reliable....they usually jam A LOT the first 100 or so rounds, then they usually shoot perfectly. If you don't believe call Kel-Tec and ask them, they say while their manual states 200 or whatever rounds they really Require about 400 rounds to insure proper functioning....I guess I just can understand someone who buys a gun to protect their life with and has never shot it....Not downing you or the gun, just saying be more careful in the future. I am saying this cause I'm worried for you. Your life is worth the a few boxes of ammo it would take to insure proper functioning.

Oh and Welcome to the trader, and again I'm just trying to look out for your well being.

Good luck with it.

Good to see so many pf9 owners chiming in on this. Looking to pick one up m yself or buy another 1911. Had on laywayjust never picked it up

Ditto on the other comments on reliability. I've shot around 100 rounds through mine and have never had the first problem. I really love this gun and have found many aftermarket parts to accessorize it. My favorite find was that this gun fits perfectly in a Glaco King-Tuck holster designed for a 1911. Hard to beat for the price too.
