Its amazing how the price didn't sky rocket this time. Sony and Microsoft must have rolled out a ton of these to keep up with demand or there's less gamers then there were when the ps3 and xbox 360 was launched.

Over 2 million sold so far so they learned from the last launch.

a buddy of mine works for sony and he was telling me that the production of ps4 was 11 times larger than the that of ps3 on release date to ensure no one was getting ripped off,!!!!
