Item Description:
John Wootters wrote in Petersen's Hunting in 1990: "A man who opens a case in hunting camp and lifts out a single-shot rifle makes a statement about himself. It may be quite unconscious, or it may be pure, egotistical one-upmanship, but it does project the image of a superior marksman and a hunter of above-average skills". That quote says it all about this beauty. I am looking to trade my classic Ruger #1B in 30-06 for a SIG 516 Classic/M400, STAG L8, Beretta ARX or Daniel Defense in 5.56 (left handed is ALWAYS better for me!). No Frankenstein AR’s please. I bought this beautiful falling block for a specific hunt but it got moved out. It has been sitting in the safe now for at least for 18 months and I have yet to even fire it. It has nice wood, a spotless bore and a crisp trigger, you can’t ask for more in a rifle that will never go out of style and everyone will want to hold. I can add cash for the right trade if needed.
