We all have cars from our past that we should have bought when they were affordable. There are too many cars that I should have bought in the 90s - Datsun Z cars at $3k, IH Scouts for $1K when nobody wanted one, early 80s Toyota trucks before they all but disappeared.

So here is the question: What cars should we be buying today? Which cars will we be kicking ourselves for not picking up cheaply when we had the chance?

For me the list could get pretty long the more I think about it, but here's a few to start

- 1973-87 Square body Chevy trucks. I've wanted to build both a lowered C10 and K10 stepside truck for years. The prices are climbing on these.

Its harder with new cars. People spend money they dont have on nice vehicles nowadays, so manufacturers make cars in unlimited supplies. Think about how rare a bentley or ferrari used to be. But if you go back a bit, there are still affordable cars, limited in number, i can see appreciating from where they are now....up to 1982 vettes, t top cutlass, WS6, monte carlos, skylines, or anything handmade like 90s vipers, nsx, etc
