Just to be clear I didn't have to do the review, this isn't a job for me it's a hobby and I choose to review guns that I like.

I've never heard of Smith Tactical & Defense but James has done an admirable job of handling the questions and hostility coming from the group. I like the specs of their rifles and I'm going to strongly weigh one of their ARs as I consider my next rifle. Between Smith Tactical and DD I don't think I'll go wrong either way. Throughout jabs of incestuous NE Georgia manufacturers, shill accounts, AR fad cash-in, phone-a-friend spec gathering, etc. they have engaged with us professionally and openly. That, to me, indicates a company I can put some trust in to take care of me in the future. That helps earn my business.
