GA law on allowed amount of ammo and powder

I was told there is still a law on the books in GA that only allows 500 rounds of ammo and 1 lb of powder per household. Any info on the law being changed?

I think OP meant the law was stating a MINIMUM amount that must be held.

Every time I hear on the news about someone getting raided with "thousands of rounds of ammunition" that's the first thing I think. Poor guy just lost his 4 bricks of .22.
