yep, my grandmother mail-ordered my first pistol (High Standard Sentinel with 3" barrel) as a gift for my 15th birthday. Used to carry it camping.
Still got it, and it looks like a pistol owned and carried by a teenage boy.

when we were teens an RG 22 in a brown paper bag was $15.

Nothing against the sellers whatsoever, I can understand not wanting to sell to someone you think is in a grey area.

I'm speaking more on the non/anti-gun folks around me.

If everyone feels like that keep them youngstersout of the military.

Sadly a lot of people just don’t fully support the 2nd amendment.
If the government says you’re old enough to go die for your country then you should be old enough to protect yourself as well.
Hell I had my first handgun well before I was 18 and never hurt anyone.

When I lived in Wyoming 40+ years ago it was not uncommon for kids that weren't old enough to drive to be wearing a side arm.

Different time and part of the world then. They might still be close to that. Per capita, there is more gun ownership there than any other place in the U.S. Nice country too
