Gang fight in chattanoga

I lived in Chattanooga for over a year doing a job for my former employer. Yes, Chattanooga is a very rough place especially in Coolidge Park. At the time I was there, the waterfront area, unless it was patroled heavily, was dangerous. During my time there, the city added patroles to the waterfront area to keep their tourist draw relatively safe. Still, there were instances of violence. The city leaders had their heads up their collective butts about the gang situation, at one time stating publically that they did not believe there was a gang problem. Well, the found different, and I have to say have tried to get ahead and stay ahead of the gang violence. I have not been there in over a year, so I cannot say what is being done now, but it appears that they are dealing with heightened gang activity.

Yeah I heard it on the news this morning. I took the wife and kids to Chattanooga Saturday evening
parked on the opposite side of the river. We usually walk across the Walnut street bridge then down to the park and back. The wife and I were both carrying we got to the bridge and plain as day was the big "No Carry sign" on the bridge. So we never made it to the park just walked around the aquarium then home. I guess those gangsters didn't notice the signs. It is getting bad around Chattanooga every morning local news tells of shootings and stabbings. I have noticed a lot of "no carry signs" in Chattanooga.
