Wouldn't do me any good, when the kids left home and the wife needed a new car she insisted on an 82 Z. She's perfectly happy driving a 29 year old car and plans to have one as long as she can. I'd hate to tell her that the government wanted her to trade up! It gets a steady 23 mpg though.
News flash from the talking heads today! Food costs may be going up due to higher fuel prices! Ummm, who couldn't figure that out? EVERYTHING is about to go up...and the speculators & big oil get richer and richer....

Considering both of my vehicles are Paid for, thank god. That would mean New Car payments, Higher Insurance Rates, and Higher Taxes, so Mr.President exactly what would I be saving. A few miles per gallon maybe. Oh yea I'll go in debt for that. But then he can't and doesn't understand Debt anyway, or not being able to pay for what your buying.
$3.35 at QT yesterday, $3.55 at BP down the road. This is in Roswell.
Produce can do that at any time from market fluctuations, that said transportation cost rising drastically will always run prices up.
Maxwell house coffee , 5.29 last week, 10.49 this week
Kroger brand, $5 and change last week, $4.88 this week.
