gemtech suppressor bcg or IA WAR upper

If you have a carbine length gas system, id go war upper. They use a proprietary gas tube and unless theyve released one i dont know about its carbine only. Any other length gas system the Gemtech carrier will still do a pretty good job.
You can contact IA and they will exchange the tube free of charge to my knowledge.

Originally they only recommend use with the carbine because the port in the upper could cause short stroking in longer gas systems. Have they changed that recommendation?
Don't see it being said either way in their website. Just says comes with proprietary gas tube in carbine, pistol or mid length.

I got out yesterday and put about 100 rounds through my Rubber City Armory BCG with the Adjustable Gas Key. https://rubbercityarmory.com/shop/m16-carrier-only-w-adjustable-key/ They offer the AGK by itself for $50 https://rubbercityarmory.com/shop/rca-adjustable-gas-key/

First off these things are simple to adjust. It took one adjustment, and it was locking the bolt back. I played around further with adjusting it, but it wasn't necessary. It does a good job of redirecting the gas, and it is comparable to my LMT eBolt in that regards. My only concern is how it will hold up with abuse, but it's on one of my hunting rifles so it's not going to see too much action. Although I will bring it out and try to get more rounds through it over time.

I've been using the LMT eBolt for a couple of years now at least, and I have no doubt it's solid, but the RCA AGK seems like it will probably be a good lower cost option.
