if its legit, get it. Hell at the very least, can you say truck gun? Hell for 200, even if it was jacked on the inside, glock will fix it.... fo freeeeeeeee

yep its legit I know the original owner someone turned him down for 200 bucks and I jumped at it it functions flawless its only had a few hundred rounds through it and its super clean for being so old

There was an issue with early model glock 17 firing when dropped. Glock offered a voluntary recall to upgrade the parts so that will not happen. I would "strongly" recommend you call glock and see if they can verify if that recall was done on your gun. If it has not they will do it in 10 minutes. They did mine last week.

Do some research before you take it to Glock. Depending on the condition it could have more collector value with the original parts. Perhaps you can (after research) ask Glock to only replace parts that are need for any recalls.
A collectible Glock?
Besides the mystical rumored Gen 1 19, I can not think of a single model Glock that could ever be considered "collectible."
