Georgia carry permit

My brother applied in Paulding Co on a Monday.........permit was in our mailbox the following Wednesday. 2 days.

That has to be a record.

It's one of those things that has to be done and you're at the mercy of the probate court of the county you reside in. Nothing like paying a tax so we can exercise our constitutional right.

My first permit took almost a full 16 weeks (Conyers, no surprise) and my renewal took 2 weeks (Covington).

Here in clayton county they don’t really want you carrying guns . It takes like 2-6 months . Go early but they only let you go so early . There’s always a gap in coverage .

I really appreciate everyone's feed back! I got over to the Gwinnett court house around 10 this morning. I was filling out all necessary paper work and a line grew into the vital records department. So I was waiting in line for about 45 minutes before they took my money and I gave the oath. Pretty straight forward system. The only complaint is that I had to listen to some women with massive muffin tops bitching about carry permit aps making the like too long.
