I was just messin around, I do most of my fishing on the Hooch, down near plant yates. Or the Lil' Tallapoosa, small mouth tear it up at certain parts.

Eating fish on Lanier is ok if they are less than 12 inches (referring to Catfish) If you have a boat that is the best way, but if you are fishing from the bank check out Van Pugh or Big Creek. I fish Lanier often, and I love it when people say its the "Dead Sea" means less competition for me in regards to fishing pressure. There are plenty of Channel Cats, I mostly catch them on shrimp, dough balls or hot dogs. Good luck buddy
