Getting in shape for summer... who's in?

Ahhh, Cross fit..... They're amusing in their natural habitat....the wild, violent, jerking movements.....the horrific form....the absurd multi stage compound movements....

Then they come to a real gym....with bodybuilders and power lifters.....they try way too hard to fit in, they screw with stuff that's obviously being used and they leave huge messes.....sorry 'bro' you ain't paying this gym $200/month to clean up behind you, rerack your weights, wipe down benches and pick your crap up off the floor before I beat you with your puny deadlift.....

That is all.....touchy subject for me

Well, if you're a genuine 'roided up power lifter most subjects are probably touchy for you. ;)

Some years back I went on a no fat/no fast food diet. Basically I just stopped eating anything with fat it. I dropped 55 lbs. in about three months. I've inched a few pounds back on and started back on it three weeks ago. Lost fourteen pounds so far. No starving,no rabbit food,no excessive workouts. Just start looking at labels and cut out the fat.

That's funny stuff right there. I look at Crossfit as a type of exercise, like P90X. Sure, they don't lift 1000 lbs. once, but they can run, jump, and lift their own body weight many, many times. And do it and not die shortly after. Don't even get me started on the flexibility. But, to each his own.
