I received many nice guns from my dad!! We are VERY lucky!!! They were really great to have!!! They require maintenance, as I'm sure you know...ENJOY!!!
If these are the first....I/we can't wait to see the rest!!!
You will need a secure storage area, for sure!! something that involves a lot of concrete and steel!!!

Modified (**) over Improved Cylinder (**-) is/was a very desirable configuration for small game.
No signs of salt wood which emerged around this time so it appears to be a very nice one for your father to pass down.

The transport case pictured is okay for short term storage, but there are much better solutions for long term storage of a family heirloom.
