Pocket pistols are great, but personally I'd rather invest in a different setup before I drop down from the 19. Unfortunately we don't pick the terms or intensity of a fight, which means I want the best possible tool for the job. It's why I shamelessly ordered a ka bar fanny pack for when I'm taking the kids to the park or arcade, skating rink etc. even a 22 naa beats nothing, but personally, I'd rather have my 19. Even if that means wearing a shoulder holster or fanny pack
Good luck getting any woman to use a fanny pack or dress in a way that would allow them to carry a full sized handgun. They have a huge advantage in the fact that carrying a purse is normal for them, but even then most that I have worked with are not willing to carry the weight for long at all. They can be very enthusiastic at first, but the novelty wears off fast and they stop carrying it. This is true of a lot of men that chose too large a weapon for EDC also.
No matter how good of a weapon it is, it does you no good if it's not on you. The first and most important question is ALWAYS; Will you actually carry it every day for the rest of your life? If the answer is anything other than an honest and well thought out "YES!", it's the wrong weapon for you.
