Given a broadside shot, what is your preferred shot on deer?

Kind of the reason I made the poll anonymous. As seldom as people state this preference on the internet, judging by what I have seen, anecdotally, it's not uncommon.

Technically not a rimfire. Waste no meat

Bucks I try to break shoulder bones, does get a headache or stiff neck. If a deer runs after I shoot I missed the shot.
