I have no confidence in statewide data, each track of land differs, I can assure you the track of private acres are going to be different than the same size acreage of land with hunting club, with 30 members are going to differ.the genetics in the area are gonna play a vital role in the size bucks that are killed.
Forest, trees. You can show the analysis of data is true, plus or minus. There is not a case here where the interval includes no data.

What I want to see is a comparison of .223 to .243. I'm pretty sure .243 isn't any better and when applied by most users is actually worse, it I can't prove it. Either way, .243 really does suck for deer. Proven fact.

Right on the edge of the front shoulder and mid to lower 3rd has always worked great for me. As long as I do my part, it's quick and ethical with no meat loss. The only time I had an issue when the shot was placed correctly was from an old bronze point Remington in 270. No blood, no sign, found the deer later by spotting buzzards. The round had disintegrated on impact. Threw the rest of the box away.

Neck is the only correct answer. Turn there lights off, drop them right where they are standing.
Where at on the neck? Seems a rather large consensus says neck but I've never tried it but I also never missed the heart I was aiming at.

Only time I ever lost a deer was bow hunting. I shot it approaching nightfall and I didn't wait long enough before going to look for it. Found it a year later on another hunt lying dead under a bush not 150 yards from where I shot it. Now I will only kill deer in the morning because in the dark you can't see shyt.
