Glad I had my carry with me today

I just went out of a quick motorcycle ride and stopped to get a cigar. Lunchtime traffic was out in full force. I am in about a mile long line of cars, and I can see that the light up ahead is red, so I start coasting, cause stop and go on a bike is a pain. Its easier to slow down, and let the light turn and keep your feet on the pegs. Some times you can coast and not have to actually stop.

Well, the impatient asshole behind me didnt like the fact that their was about 60 yards of space between me and the car in front of me, so he starts honking. Little honk at first, then more persistent.

I'm not about to speed up, cause I can clearly see we are all going to stop in another 5 seconds anyway. This asshole passes me on the grass on the median, yelling at me as he passes, and races up another 100 yrds to the left turn lane, which is red. The road widens and the two left turn lanes are separate at this point. I chuckle to myself and wait for the light to change. He's about 50 yrds in front of me. My lane turns green, we start going, he's still sitting there in the left lane, red light. I'm thinking I've seen the last of this guy.

As I approach this car, the driver cuts back out into my lane in front of me, Now I'm thinking I have a problem. I keep riding, leaving plenty of space between me and him, he trys to slow down and give me the slow treatment, I just slow down more. At this point cars are passing us on the left. I'm not about to let this guy get behind me, so I keep on cruising behind him.

At the light I leave plenty of space between me and him in case he gets out of the car. I expect him to get out of the car.

Nothing.

Same thing at the next light, nothing.

But I was glad I had my 45 with me, especially siting at the light behind him.

I like to do the same thing on my bike and even my car. What's the point of flying up the the light and slamming the brakes? I've found that most people these days have no clue how to drive and/or go easy on their equipment.

Same sort of thing happened to me a week ago.
I was following a guy who was doing 15-20mph in a 45. I wasn't following him closely to be a jerk, but I was a little closer than usual, naturally, due to him going so slow.
He then randomly slammed on his brakes, put his car in park, and got out in the middle of the road and started yelling at me.
I didn't do anything but look at him, he eventually got back in the car and drove off.
People are ridiculous now-a-days.

People are just ****ed up these days. I had a guy at a QT start mouthing off to me about driving a real car and how come I can't buy American (I was filling up my wife's Fiat, a lot of folks on here have seen it, he was in a POS 89-90 Ford P/U). I ignored him until I thought he was going to get in my face. I was done filling up so I jumped in the car and left. I was carrying, no way I was going to deal with that **** unless left no options.

Love the new Fiat 500's.

I had a Fiat X19 in college.

We had an 850 when my dad was stationed in Germany.

I inherited the '76 Berlinetta 128 fastback my parents brought back from WEST Germany...

Saw a guy on a bike OCing this week in Albany. Of course I didn't see the gun till he was passing me. Would have waved at him but kind of figured he'd take it wrong if I raced back up beside him just to stick a thumbs up at him. LOL!

Doesn't Fiat own Chrysler?

Keep lug nuts or marbles in your pocket stuff flies up off the road all the time.Oh and learn to shoot LEFT handed.

I have to practice some where private as holding the Glock sideways (movie gangsta style) actually helps my accuracy off handed but I refuse to be seen in public shooting that way. Any other off handed ideas?
