at this price point I am willing to bet is is made from 416 stainless which is a much softer SS.

I ran into that with a Live Free Armory slide and an unknown barrel….it seems the barrel had a sharp edge on the front top edge of the chamber that hit the bottom edge of the slide, which for some reason had a double edge machined into it. Very simple fix, I just 45 degreed the edges of the barrel just in front of the chamber top, taking minimum material off. Much like fitting a barrel in a CZ pistol…my other barrels were relieved here…
